I’m in the throws of traveling the country and do not have my trusty drawing equipment with me this week!  So you’re getting a sketch from my journal on the road!  For me, curating a playlist has long been an essential part of my spiritual journey.  Finding just the right combination of songs to navigate a season of life is a way I express my prayer life and emotional growth.  Sometimes I share my playlists with other people, so excited for them to notice every movement and the beauty of each song only for it to fall flat because it’s not full of popular 80’s top forty hits.  You have to go on the journey with me, and who has time for that?

Well, I’ve put together a playlist for you this summer if you’d like to join me on my spiritual and emotional journey, take away from it what you want.  These songs pick me up, chill me out, and give me a grounded sense of the hope that I carry with me through the weight of life.  Hopefully I’ll be back next week with a full length comic for you, like you’re used to!  Thanks for being a great audience!
