John Wesley was very particular about clothing—he wanted to look good, but not TOO good.  He does have this great sermon called “Catholic Spirit,” addressing divisions in the church over theology and worship practices.  He argues that yes, there ultimately is one truth in Christ, but no one person can lay claim to that truth.  Believe your opinion with all your might, but love your brothers and sisters in Christ who think differently than you no matter what.  I thought I’d be lazy and just repeat the same images over and over, but it actually turned out to be a lot more work than I thought.
