Welcome to a short series I hope to put together for the General Conference of The United Methodist Church, 2024!  Page one takes us back two years in time to the announcement that General Conference 2020 would yet again be postponed!  I will not have time to write lengthy content as the pages themselves will do the talking this time. If you’re unfamiliar with Wesley Bros Comics, you are entering a world of parody and satire, combining the niche market of United Methodism with the niche market of the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Universe! Here, you’ll meet the Pragmatic Four, a dynamic problem-solving group of heroes comprised of Scripture (Inscripture Girl, played by Phoebe Palmer), Tradition (The Doctrine, played by Charles Wesley), Experience (Great Balls of Fire, played by George Whitefield), and Reason (Mr. Pragmatic, played by John Wesley).  The role of General Conference itself is portrayed as the Devourer of World, Gen’l Confluence.
