John Wesley seemed to love All Saints Day (for the reasons described in panel two up there). Protestant Christians understand saints to include more than just those exceptional few who have been canonized by the Catholic Church. So, those who have died that were faithful Christians, we honor as saints on All Saints Day. Not sure I’m really honoring Frances Willard too well here, but hey…she pushed for prohibition and women’s suffrage, AND women’s bicycles, so in my mind, she’s the Patron Saint of Lady Bikes.
