John Wesley was terrible in the love department. While serving in Georgia as a young man, he became enamored of this PYT, Sophy Hopkey. She came to ALL his bible studies, confusing his desire to be a single, celibate preacher for the kingdom. So he did what any self-respecting single clergy would do, he kept the lines between pastor/boyfriend blurry and never really had that DTR talk.
